Already 1 Year!

It is amazing that a year has gone by so fast. It seems like just a few weeks ago we were getting back from our honeymoon in Jamaica and starting our new life together. Adjusting to married life was a lot easier that we expected, mainly because everyone told us that the first year of marriage is the hardest. Needless to say Meghan and I love being married.

Since the wedding we have moved to St Augustine, FL. It has been an adjustment moving to a entirely new place without knowing anyone, but we have found a great church and have been able to make some good friends. I doubt that we will ever find as good of friends that we left at Clemson.

I, Andrew, work for Pinnacle Snoales Group as a sales rep for covering north Florida and most recently the low country of South Carolina. Pinnacle is a distributor of decorative kitchen and bath products to the southeast US. I enjoy my job even though I have been on the road a good bit lately.

Meghan is attending the University of St Augustine studying to get her DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is currently in the middle of the third semester of school. The classes are very challenging; there is a big difference between the caliber of work in undergrad and graduate programs. Last semester Meghan was able to become friends with a cadaver and got know him better than she wanted. This semester she is working on dissecting the brain and spinal cord. Graduation is a short year and half away, December 2009. We can't wait!

Last summer was spent moving into the condo and getting adjusted to the "real world"; work and graduate school. During the fall we were able to make it up to a number of Clemson football games and were able to spend time with friends and family. The winter in Florida is great! We kept the doors open at night and ate many dinners on the back porch during the comfortable cool evenings. Christmas was spent with the Ferguson's in Charleston, followed by Craig Sarratt's wedding in Greenville. The spring was especially hard for Meghan as school goes. It is known as the hardest semester at the school! At the end of the spring semester we took a week long vacation up to Lake Hartwell, SC and did nothing. It was a very relaxing time to unwind and enjoy one anothers company. As the summer is now here, evident by the 95 degree temperature today, we have just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and have been very busy with school and work.

I will try my best to stay on top of this blog and post to it on a regular basis. Hope all our family and friends are doing well. We love you!

Waiting for the Wedding Day

We are so excited about getting married and can't wait for the day to actually get here, but for now we have a lot of things to finish up. First Meghan and I have to finish school. We have a week and a half left and then a short week of exams. Friday May 11th is graduation. Meghan will be graduating with a degree in Heath Science and I will be graduating with a degree in Finance.

After finishing our college careers, we will be getting married on May 26th in Charleston, South Carolina. Then it is off to St. Augustine, FL where we will begin a new chapter of our lives together. Meghan will be attending the University of St. Augustine and getting her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and I will be working as a sales rep for Pinnalce Sales Group. We are excited and are trying to finalize all the details. Please pray for us as we have a lot of change coming in the next couple of months.
